Sacred Law Vs Humanic Law

 Introduction

It is one of the human nature where every group and communities will even have their own rulings. Even a single person will have his or her own do and dont things. So does the religion of Islam. The only reliable law in the world is this type of law. This is because it came from a party that had no intersts on us, God.

If a ruler, father, boss, company or other similar parties put certain rulings, it is usually so they can take interests from you. If god put certain laws on us, what does he wants from us? He exist before our existence. He will not take a single benefit from us if we all obey him and his majestic will not be reduced even a bit if we all turn against him.

Islamic Sacred Law

Islamic Sacred Law, known as Shari‘ah, is not merely a system of legal rulings but a divine framework that guides human life toward justice, mercy, and spiritual balance. Rooted in the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Muhammad, it seeks to harmonize the outward actions of individuals with their inner moral state.Shari‘ah encompasses acts of worship, social relations, ethics, governance, and personal conduct. It does not separate law from spirituality; rather, it integrates both.

Every command and prohibition aims to preserve essential values faith, life, intellect, lineage, and property ensuring the well-being of both the individual and society.More than a rigid legal code, Islamic Sacred Law is a path (tariqah) that disciplines the ego, refines character, and nurtures consciousness of God.

Humanic Law

Humanic law refers to systems of law created by human beings to regulate society, maintain order, and protect collective interests. It emerges from reason, social experience, political negotiation, and historical development.

Unlike sacred law, it is not claimed to be divine, but constructed through human deliberation and subject to change.Humanic law reflects the values, priorities, and moral assumptions of a particular society at a particular time.It evolves as societies evolve, adapting to new challenges, technologies, and social realities. Its authority rests on institutions, constitutions, and collective agreement rather than revelation. While it seeks justice and stability, its interpretations and applications remain open to revision, critique, and reform because human understanding itself is limited and dynamic. In this sense, humanic law is a mirror of human intellect: structured, rational, yet always in need of refinement.

Certain Laws Were Put To Benefits Certain People

This is one of the sad thing that happened nowdays. The rich and the rulers were the one who administrate the countries. Human does no longer works to serve other human beings rather than their stomach. This is why honesty towards God is so important as a Muslim. We might get safe in this world but not in hereafterFor example, the monetary burden only being imply to those who are capable of. This is the concept of Zakat. The rulers must have this kind of philosophy before ruling the country.

Conclusion

From the beginning of human existence, laws have always been present whether shaped by communities, rulers, or individuals themselves.Yet not all laws are equal in intention, foundation, or ultimate purpose.

Islamic Sacred Law stands distinct because it originates from God, who is free from need and free from self-interest, while humanic law remains vulnerable to power, desire, and limitation. When law is disconnected from accountability before God, it risks becoming a tool of advantage for certain groups. But when law is grounded in divine guidance, it seeks justice beyond worldly benefit justice that protects the weak, disciplines the powerful, and reminds humanity that true success is not only in this world, but in the hereafter.
