Islam A Religion of Mercy

 Introduction

 

 

Islam is the religion of monotheism. The Muslim worships one true God that there are no others like him. He is the most supreme and powerful beings ever existed. This is the root of this religion. The logic will refute whatever comes from a wrong source. For example, we will not believe in whatever comes from a drunk guy`s mouth. This is because the man (source) is not right. Same goes to the religion, if the concept of God is wrong, why would we take the things come from it?


The next question that will rise through our mind is after we acknowledge that God is one, what should we do? Does he leave us any guidance for us?. The answer lies in the prophet that propagate this message, Mohamad peace and blessing be upon him. He was the last and final messenger. Thus, we should followed his footsteps as best as we can. It is also important to note that the Muslim did not blindly follows the prophet rather than with strong proof, which is the Al-Quran.


Islam Is the Religion Of Mercy

 

 

 

The rose of Islamophobia is due to the ignorance of the teaching contains in it. There is no coercion and element of forces in its teaching. The word Islam itself comes from the word salima (سلم) which means peace in Arabic. Whenever we deal with a foreign culture, we need to get a proper explanation first before judging it. This is because the tendency of the false judgement is high whenever we judge something based on our ignorance.Below will be the further and detail explanation on what is the religion of Islam is all about.The absolute God also introduce himself as the most compassionate and merciful in the beginning of Al-Quran where he said

 

“بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم”

 

Translation :

 

In the name of God, the most compassionate and most merciful.


The Foundation Of Islam

 

The most important thing about Islam that a person must know is about the oneness of God and accepting his messengers. The concept of God is very clear in Islam. He is the only sole God with no partner and all other than him is created by him. He does not take any benefit from its creations where his creations depend on him. This fits the defination of God. If we see from the Chrstians view, the defination of God will not fit into their understanding.

After acknowledging Allah is the creator, then what to do next?. The answer is to follow his comandments. Just like acknowledging a new president, the next thing we should do is obeying his rules. God rules are different form the rules set by humans. All of the God rules will definitely contains benefit for ourselves. He is the most just and impossible for God to act unjust. Unlike human, their decisions may contain biasnes towards himself. It is a matter of the human whether he capable of doing so.


Conclusion

 

Most of things that we commit daily is allowed in Islam compared to the things that is prohibited. This is the main things that is brought by the prophet. It is mentioned in a hadith qudsi :

 

سبقت رحمتي غضبي

 

Translation : My mercy is more dominant than my anger.

 

There are no sins that is not forgiven during a man`s life. In fact, there is no person after the prophet that do not commit sins. However, the quantity of good deeds must be more than the bad deeds. This statement doesn’t mean that it is a license for a muslim to commit sins.

As for the reverted Muslim, anything that they commit before they were Islam are not counted because of the ignorence. However, it is very recommended to find a teacher and sit around the circle of the Muslim.

  Pengenalan       Perlu diketahui bahawa manusia itu terbahagi kepada dua bahagian yang tidak dapat dilihat dengan mata kasar, iaitu akal dan ruh.   Pengenalan     Perlu diketahui bahawa Islam adalah agama yang membuka seluas luasnya kepada pengikutnya untuk beramal. Ini termasuk di dalam hukum hakam yang digariskan oleh ulama.
