A Brief Introduction To The Religion Of Islam

This paper is dedicated to all of the westerns or whoever wanted to get a brief introduction about the religion of Islam. Although the researcher himself never been to any western country, but it can clearly be seen that the western people are trying to find answers in their daily lives. A lot of Islamic movement has been made by slowly explaining the good value of Islam in the west and all praises belongs to him, certain people has already accepted them as a way of life.

A lot of confusions occur in present world, such as the man qualified for certain job,a proper way in managing the society, the requirements or entitlement of a person and other unsolved problem of humanity. A human mind himself are limitied to the extent of what they have found in real life and cannot remember everything. This is why the Al-Quran named human as insan (أنسان)   which is derived from the word nasiya (نسي) which means forget.

The Muslim View On This Life

 

It is important to be noted that Islam does not rejected entirely on the worldly material at all. We just view at as a temporary rather than everlasting and this is proven when we will not bring any of our things,family,materials or even followers. It will all be forgotten and someone else might inherit it. We view it just like a normal travel view on his commuter where he will says to himself that “I am not going to stay inside this for a long period of time”.

However due to some shallow understanding of Islam in the muslim society, they preached as of the worldly material is no use at all and asked people to stay away from it by not working in the office. What does Islam really means is that the Muslim should work as if he would be living in this world not like as he would stay in this world forever. Lets have neutral view about the ethics in accumulating wealth. Nobody likes a person when he trangress a certain limitation like taking right of the others, bringing down other parties in order to gain his and other unethical actions. Islam also prohibits this kind of action which suits the interest of a normal human being. This is a prove that Islam suits the whole humankind. One of the name of Islam is the religion of nature (الدين فطرة). A Muslim should make a lot of his deed and inner view of what he sees in this world is temporary. Just like a person travelling by whatever means such as train,plane or a car. He will never expect to be in that commuter forever or even a long period. That is just how a muslim view on this life.

Conclusion

 

The teaching of Islam will be suitable for all humankind regardless of its location and time. This is because the main focus are the intellect and the soul which every human being posses. The allegation made that Islam teaches violent is not true at all as discussed above. The Muslims only obligated to uphold their weapons when they are being attacked by enemy not otherwise. This is also the refutation for those who say that Islam was spread by force and coercian.
