Islam As A Way Of Life

 What is Islam?


The word Islam comes from an arabic word of أسلم which is a past tense. The words Islam however is the noun which undergo the morphology process and turned into أسلام . Since the last and final messenger of Islam comes from the Arab tribe, hence a lot of Islamic sciences or knowledge contains Arabic words.









It is important to note that the main teaching of Islam is the oneness of God that has the right to be worshipper. This statement is made after a pure argument has been made by the Muslim. The Muslim worshiped their God not because of his friends,parents or even society do so rather than his intellect rejected that it is impossible for god to has any partners.


What Are The Value Brought by It?

 

It is important to note that Islam does not prevent its followers from practicing their daily activities such as having family,accumulating wealth and other humanly desired one. However, if we look closely people or as the Quran mentioned it al-insan (الأسان) tend to forget the rights of themselves and others in getting these things. The word insan above comes from the word nasiya (نسي) which means to forget which really suits the current point mentioned.

We can see what human tend to become when they pursue this kind of things. Broken house,corruption, killings and war mostly started from this pursue. Since God know how the human will become if they are not properly managed, he sent his prophet throughout times to remind them about glorifying him and do justice towards oneself and others.


Conclusion

 

Islam begins with the concept of acknowledgement of God and his Messenger and followed by other values. This is a very systematic order to be accepted by a human mind. Thus, it is the first step to acknowledge God and his Messenger before commiting other values in Islam.

Human of course whenever he draw his own jurisprudence or guideline, he tends to be bias to himself. In case he is not bias, he will never be able to draw a guidline that is just and effective to all other human beings. This is the capacity of a human. Thus, god the creator of man, sent a prophet to propagate his messages to humankind. This is the most unbiased rulings we can ever had.

Pertentangan Di Antara Falsafah Islam Dan Barat

  Pengenalan       Perlu diketahui bahawa manusia itu terbahagi kepada dua bahagian yang tidak dapat dilihat dengan mata kasar, iaitu akal dan ruh. Maka inilah alat yang sepatutnya digunakan oleh umat Islam untuk menginfakkanya pada jalan agama baik dari segi individu mahupun komuniti. Tanggapan Islam Terhadap Kemodenan

  Pengenalan     Perlu diketahui bahawa Islam adalah agama yang membuka seluas luasnya kepada pengikutnya untuk beramal. Ini termasuk di dalam hukum hakam yang digariskan oleh ulama. Hanya terdapat sedikit perkara yang wajib dan begitu juga yang haram. Yang lain semuanya bersifat harus. Akan tetapi, ramai di antara penganutnya yang tidak faham hukum hakam ini sehingga ada yang mengatakan Islam agama yang jumud.
